Conflict Solution Services is continuing to do business during the pandemic. However, to protect staff and clients, all mediations are done remotely through Zoom and WebEx. Privacy and safety is our utmost concern. Rest assured that these platforms have been successful in conducting our mediations and meetings.

In conflict coaching, we work with clients by assessing their communication and conflict styles, and instruct them in how to engage in, manage or productively resolve conflict to turn a stressful situation into a positive growth experience.
Conflict coaching can be used in anticipation of an interpersonal or business conflict or to make a thorough assessment of a conflict that has already arisen. Much like an athletic coach, we instruct individuals and groups on how to develop positive conflict management skills and techniques. We then employ a series of role plays to fine tune a client’s conflict skills and identify areas of improvement. As the client moves into addressing their actual conflict we serve as advisors, counseling clients on how to achieve their goals and desires in their communications with the other party.
Conflict coaching involves teaching individuals and groups how to: (1) identify whether conflict exists; (2) address internal feelings and emotions with respect to potential conflict and/or conflict situations; (3) communicate positively with others in both managing and resolving conflict; (4) give and receive feedback in a positive manner; (5) meet one’s goals and desires in a conflict situation through various negotiation techniques; and (6) develop a system to handle and manage future conflict situations.
In coaching individuals and groups, we advise them as to how to handle conflict in the workplace; between differing community groups; between people of different races, genders and economic backgrounds; between family members; between couples; between divorcing and post-divorce spouses; between parents and children; and in business situations.
